Nostalgia Maybe you remember old application of Ubuntu 12.04 or 11.02 but what if we use this systems for the daily living will they work ... let's find it out .  Apps In apps you got the old Ubuntu Software Store (USS)  what it's very good cause you find some basic stuff for programming , gaming, audio editing and some other stuff .  But new applications like Spotify will be harder to install but thanks to the internet there are tutorials about it or updating Chrome or Chromium is a real "pain in the ass"  , but if you're working on basic stuff or it's a guest computer it's going to be ok .  Updates  Well updates don't have the best face of this but cause it's an old OS it will always try to give the latest ver sion of everything it will be constantly sending you massages about "update the computer"  "ubuntu 18.01 is ready to install" . Bodhi Linux Maybe you bought an old pc or you have an old pc that has Windows Xp (yag) . Almost always windows is not the fastest OS for your pc but Bodhi LInux can fix this "speed" problem . System requirements : amazing by the way  500mhz processor  128mb of RAM 4GB of drive space  Recommended requirements : 1.0ghz processor  512 mb of RAM 10GB of drive space  ------- THE WHOLE ISO JUST WEIGHTS 711MB !! Why did I decided to blog about this ? Is so simple as  : my other computer (the best one ) the turn on button broke so I can turn it on until I fix it Too cause is going to be a good experience to never forget how computer where in 2005 ( hahaha ) Main things I have notice : You cannot have the same power as you will have on a core i5 cause this computer is a ( drums please ) Pentium 4 good thing about it is that it uses a very reduce place , so I got more space on m room for another stuff  ; I cannot edit my videos with Kdenlive at full speed my mouse gets a little lag but the computer does a good work on the rendering . Maybe you already ask this to yourself meanwhile you where reading : What kind of OS is he using ? ; some will say P uppy Linux  other L ubuntu  and just some U buntu server . iF YOU  SAY LUBUNTU YOU ARE ON THE WINNING SIDE   .  The computer specs :  3GB of RAM  35GB of  Hard Disk  Pentium 4  An old Compaq keyboard ( the ones that sound a lot!!!

Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 Maybe you are looking for a good and nice looking desktop with easy controls and  almost equal to Ubuntu and windows .  So the minimum requirements for Ubuntu Gnome are  :   1 GHz processor (for example Intel Celeron) or better.   1.5 GB RAM       10 GB of free hard drive space for installation.  As you see it was some very versatile requirements and easy to have  , this is my hard drive right now : (its a 40 GB hard drive note )  Finally here is a review about the UBUNTU GNOME !!!   https://youtu.be/e4wUcedP79o  

Reason 1 : Simply as free Many people say : Yeah I just hack Windows and I have it free .  But common its more easy to just downloaded and end . PLUS all the Linux apps or the majority are free .
