Nostalgia Maybe you remember old application of Ubuntu 12.04 or 11.02 but what if we use this systems for the daily living will they work ... let's find it out .  Apps In apps you got the old Ubuntu Software Store (USS)  what it's very good cause you find some basic stuff for programming , gaming, audio editing and some other stuff .  But new applications like Spotify will be harder to install but thanks to the internet there are tutorials about it or updating Chrome or Chromium is a real "pain in the ass"  , but if you're working on basic stuff or it's a guest computer it's going to be ok .  Updates  Well updates don't have the best face of this but cause it's an old OS it will always try to give the latest ver sion of everything it will be constantly sending you massages about "update the computer"  "ubuntu 18.01 is ready to install" . Bodhi Linux Maybe you bought an old pc or you have an old pc that has Windows Xp (yag) . Almost always windows is not the fastest OS for your pc but Bodhi LInux can fix this "speed" problem . System requirements : amazing by the way  500mhz processor  128mb of RAM 4GB of drive space  Recommended requirements : 1.0ghz processor  512 mb of RAM 10GB of drive space  ------- THE WHOLE ISO JUST WEIGHTS 711MB !! Why did I decided to blog about this ? Is so simple as  : my other computer (the best one ) the turn on button broke so I can turn it on until I fix it Too cause is going to be a good experience to never forget how computer where in 2005 ( hahaha ) Main things I have notice : You cannot have the same power as you will have on a core i5 cause this computer is a ( drums please ) Pentium 4 good thing about it is that it uses a very reduce place , so I got more space on m room for another stuff  ; I cannot edit my videos with Kdenlive at full speed my mouse gets a little lag but the computer does a good work on the rendering . Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 Maybe you are looking for a good and nice looking desktop with easy controls and  almost equal to Ubuntu and windows .  So the minimum requirements for Ubuntu Gnome are  :   1 GHz processor (for example Intel Celeron) or better.   1.5 GB RAM       10 GB of free hard drive space for installation.  As you see it was some very versatile requirements and easy to have  , this is my hard drive right now : (its a 40 GB hard drive note )  Finally here is a review about the UBUNTU GNOME !!!   https://youtu.be/e4wUcedP79o

Ramme You don't have enough  RAM on your phone but you are a Instagram addict , well this application is for you . SO maybe you always or sometimes have to move your photos to your PC for making so last touch or edition to the picture and then move it back to the phone and bla bla bla ... . This will make your life a lot more simple and you can work a lot more faster . Is very basic you just put your account and it will link it to Instagram and baam !! the magic happens  is very easy to use , the only thing I really hate , I don't know if is my PC the  slow one or the application has some problems , but it takes sometime to start up  BUT ITS OK FOR WHAT YOU CAN DO . RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX Maybe you hear about , its very popular between the web servers creator and programmers . Well if you are looking for a Ubuntu Distro that can handle you programming tasks or creating new web servers this is your perfect OS . I have friends that have used this platform and they had no problems and it work really well . If you want to run this OS you will need as minimum requirements : CPU TYPE :   PENTIUM 4 OR HIGHER ; 21GHZ MEMORY RAM :  1GB OR UP TO THE SYSTEM LIMIT  HARD DISK :  4GB OR UP TO THE SYSTEM LIMIT  Here are some pictures of RED HAT : Its a desktop with the same view as Lubuntu , so this makes the computer a lot more faster . TELEGRAM FOR DESKTOP For this you will need a phone , you cant do it without a phone number . !!! So Open your command line ( Control + Alt+ ) and write this command  :   sudo snap install telegram-sergiusens If it doesn't  work just type :   sudo apt-get update  That should be all for running Telegram on your PC ,  remember this is just a sync version you will need a phone number for creating an account on Telegram . UBUNTU GNOME  Ohh those old days when ubuntu had that compact menu and it was super-lightweight until now some of you may still remember and miss that old fashion desktop but is back and is very easy to install . OPTION 1: Go to  https://ubuntugnome.org/  and you will found a download button and choose your distribution 32bits or 64bits. Very easy well lets go to option 2 OPTION 2: Compared to the other this is a little more harder , but just a little dont give up yet , ok so click on the option bottom for opening the shutdown or reboot and you ll see and option that says log out , the when is completely log out choose in the bar your distro by clicking on the ubuntu icon and a menu will pop up showing some option of distros and choose GNOME  and just put your password and enter again and you will enter on Gnome "old fashion" desktop .
